About Me
I am a warm, inviting, and approachable counsellor with experience in supporting individuals with a broad range of life challenges and difficulties. I am a qualified Person-centred counsellor, and this means that I provide a genuine, non-judgemental, and empathic space in which you can explore the things that have brought you to counselling.
I believe that you are the person who knows best what you need, and together we will develop an equal, co-created therapeutic relationship, in which I will support you in feeling empowered to make the changes that you are seeking to make.

How I Can Help
Sometimes people can find that they are in need of psychological, and emotional support. This can arise from historical, or current life experiences, or there can be a circumstantial situation that is impacting on you. Sometimes there are major life changes to manage, that you need help with. Or perhaps you cannot name an obvious issue, but you can feel a sense that something does not feel right.
I offer confidential and professional support, in which I will help you to understand yourself and your relationships with others.
I will help you in making sense of what your experiences mean to you, and I will support you in processing and healing from them.
Together we will build an honest, safe, and reflective working therapeutic relationship, that will foster your self-awareness, and clarity in a gentle way. I see people as self governing, and autonomous beings, who can actively participate in, and contribute to their wellness.
I will work alongside you in a holistic, compassionate, and active way as you explore your challenges.
Sometimes people feel that they are shifting on a personal and/or spiritual level, and that they would like to expand on this with another person. I can be with you on this journey, in helping you to identify the shifts that you are noticing, and I can support you in moving into the wholeness of who you are.

Initially, we will have a telephone discussion, free of charge, so that we can discuss what you want to bring to counselling, and you can decide if you would like us to move forward in to the therapeutic process together.
We will start, and we will see how it feels.
